Web 2.0

I made this glog on Glogster EDU.  It was fun but a little challenging.

I have registered on delicious.com.  At first I was a little skeptical of its usefulness because I have no problems with keeping my favorites organized. However, once I realized others would have access to the sites I tagged and I would have access to their tagged sites, I realized why it's a useful tool.    The use of delicious.com could especially be useful within departments at schools or amongst curriculum developers as they share information. I look forward to sharing this information with colleagues and others.

I just signed up for Google Reader. I look forward to using this tool as it should make getting information easy and efficient. I suscribed to the pages I visit frequently and now I can just go to one location for updates.

I just created my own wiki. I think this is a great tool for people to communicate efficiently about a topic specific to them.

I made a video on animoto.com about my High School 101 class. It is a great tool for the classroom. Students can easily make short presentations or reports using animoto or teachers can use it to capture students' attention with a short video. High School 101

I have created a map of the two places I visited the most when I was in Takaoka, Toyama, Japan with Scribble Maps. I had never used this before and think it could be a very useful tool.

I have created a brief Google Docs presentation about my time in Japan. I have used Google Docs several times over the past few years, but I had never created a presentation. It was fun and very similar to creating a Power Point presentation.

  1. Nice blog! I like how you put the links right into the post as part of the regular print. I know you must be relieved to be done! Great job and keep up the good work! Maybe I will see you at the ECAP graduation.
